 I want to be clear that what I'm about to say is not directed to the many long time Republicans who have had their Party Hi Jacked by Extremists but to those Extremists and their supporters.I do not apologize for my name calling for as it is said"if the shoe fits..." and  wish I did not come down to your level but it seems the only level you know.

To those who still stand behind what passes as the GOP these days I wish to ask if they hate themselves as much as they do others because only a masochist would embrace the harm and horror proposed by those you support and maybe  some form of gratification is driving you.
I ask because I need to know who to direct my anger at for sustaining a group that thrives on lies,distortion,Voter Suppression, Hate and Racism. You seem Hell bent on having a fight and think you can insult me with impunity.
I need to know how you ,whom I don't even know, think it is ok to deny me or others their Rights and impose your Religous beliefs on me.
I do not tell you where to go to Church nor do I care.
I do not tell you who you can love,that is your choice.
I do not tell lies about the poor excuse of a man you have chosen to run for the highest office of the land.I don't need to. He's his own ad for an imbecilic liar and con man.The shit that falls out of his mouth is enough for most rational people to see he is not fit for this job,but will do anything to get it.
I am not trying to take your Health Care away from you as your choice for President wants to do to me. If you're happy with that overpriced under performer of a plan you might have you are free to keep it and still benefit from the ACA or as you call it "ObamaCare". And you will,or may already be benefiting. I suppose you could give those benefits back by just not using them.You know like if you are unfortunate enough to be told you're a pre existing moron and United Shit Care won't cover you,or you have reached your policy Lifetime Cap on your newly born Child,now he can die.
You do not support  Birth Control but you soft  guys can sure get it up now with your covered boner pills.Now you are a real dick instead of just acting like one at the local Strip Joint all you guys seem to live at while screaming"Family Values"and how you love your wife,or current one anyway.
I do not show up at Polling Places with a weapon displayed in hopes of discouraging you from voting.
I do not write legislation to keep others who do not agree with my views the Right to Vote.
I did not support invading the wrong country and losing thousands of Americans Lives  in doing so.
I did not waste the SURPLUS to give Tax Breaks to the Rich.
I did not cause our Country to have it's Credit Rating downgraded for the first time in History as your Party held the Nation Hostage so you could get your way.
If you still want to support these Racist assholes as "Real Republicans" when in fact they are no better than terrorists, proven by their actions, I can only assume you to be an enemy and not a fellow American because those you support are the Enemy Within and you are the Tories who support them.
To those of you that have accepted  reality and are working to regain your Party and the dignity it once had,I applaud and respect you.
These are but a few of the horrid treasonous and treacherous actions that have occurred since the Tea Party took control of the once Grand Old Party and you should be directing your dismay at them not the duly Elected POTUS who even while incurring the most obstructionism ever known in this country still has worked to successfully return the economy to stability and avoid a total meltdown and a Depression far worse than the "Great"one and has not received one once of thanks from those that created this mess.
The Auto Industry is still here only because of his actions.No one would help them and if they went so would  the supply chain that the still remaining Solvent Car makers used, probably forcing them into calamity as well.
The President received nothing but contempt for his successful efforts from the so called GOP.You can spin it anyway you want,but it worked.It was a Presidential decision by a man with Presidential qualifications.
We would be much further along in our recovery had he been granted what every other President ever elected received at the start of their term. Cooperation and Respect.
Now you want to continue to destroy the Nation by stealing an Election and saying FU to all of us who were correct and blaming us for the results of your actions.

IT was perhaps the most famous presidential briefing in history.

On Aug. 6, 2001, President George W. Bush received a classified review of the threats posed by Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network, Al Qaeda. That morning’s “presidential daily brief” — the top-secret document prepared by America’s intelligence agencies — featured the now-infamous heading: “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” A few weeks later, on 9/11, Al Qaeda accomplished that goal.


On April 10, 2004, the Bush White House declassified that daily brief — and only that daily brief — in response to pressure from the 9/11 Commission, which was investigating the events leading to the attack. Administration officials dismissed the document’s significance, saying that, despite the jaw-dropping headline, it was only an assessment of Al Qaeda’s history, not a warning of the impending attack. While some critics considered that claim absurd, a close reading of the brief showed that the argument had some validity.
That is, unless it was read in conjunction with the daily briefs preceding Aug. 6, the ones the Bush administration would not release. While those documents are still not public, I have read excerpts from many of them, along with other recently declassified records, and come to an inescapable conclusion: the administration’s reaction to what Mr. Bush was told in the weeks before that infamous briefing reflected significantly more negligence than has been disclosed. In other words, the Aug. 6 document, for all of the controversy it provoked, is not nearly as shocking as the briefs that came before it.
The direct warnings to Mr. Bush about the possibility of a Qaeda attack began in the spring of 2001. By May 1, the Central Intelligence Agency told the White House of a report that “a group presently in the United States” was planning a terrorist operation. Weeks later, on June 22, the daily brief reported that Qaeda strikes could be “imminent,” although intelligence suggested the time frame was flexible.
But some in the administration considered the warning to be just bluster. An intelligence official and a member of the Bush administration both told me in interviews that the neoconservative leaders who had recently assumed power at the Pentagon were warning the White House that the C.I.A. had been fooled; according to this theory, Bin Laden was merely pretending to be planning an attack to distract the administration from Saddam Hussein, whom the neoconservatives saw as a greater threat. Intelligence officials, these sources said, protested that the idea of Bin Laden, an Islamic fundamentalist, conspiring with Mr. Hussein, an Iraqi secularist, was ridiculous, but the neoconservatives’ suspicions were nevertheless carrying the day.
In response, the C.I.A. prepared an analysis that all but pleaded with the White House to accept that the danger from Bin Laden was real.
“The U.S. is not the target of a disinformation campaign by Usama Bin Laden,” the daily brief of June 29 read, using the government’s transliteration of Bin Laden’s first name. Going on for more than a page, the document recited much of the evidence, including an interview that month with a Middle Eastern journalist in which Bin Laden aides warned of a coming attack, as well as competitive pressures that the terrorist leader was feeling, given the number of Islamists being recruited for the separatist Russian region of Chechnya.
And the C.I.A. repeated the warnings in the briefs that followed. Operatives connected to Bin Laden, one reported on June 29, expected the planned near-term attacks to have “dramatic consequences,” including major casualties. On July 1, the brief stated that the operation had been delayed, but “will occur soon.” Some of the briefs again reminded Mr. Bush that the attack timing was flexible, and that, despite any perceived delay, the planned assault was on track.
Yet, the White House failed to take significant action. Officials at the Counterterrorism Center of the C.I.A. grew apoplectic. On July 9, at a meeting of the counterterrorism group, one official suggested that the staff put in for a transfer so that somebody else would be responsible when the attack took place, two people who were there told me in interviews. The suggestion was batted down, they said, because there would be no time to train anyone else.
That same day in Chechnya, according to intelligence I reviewed, Ibn Al-Khattab, an extremist who was known for his brutality and his links to Al Qaeda, told his followers that there would soon be very big news. Within 48 hours, an intelligence official told me, that information was conveyed to the White House, providing more data supporting the C.I.A.’s warnings. Still, the alarm bells didn’t sound.
On July 24, Mr. Bush was notified that the attack was still being readied, but that it had been postponed, perhaps by a few months. But the president did not feel the briefings on potential attacks were sufficient, one intelligence official told me, and instead asked for a broader analysis on Al Qaeda, its aspirations and its history. In response, the C.I.A. set to work on the Aug. 6 brief.
In the aftermath of 9/11, Bush officials attempted to deflect criticism that they had ignored C.I.A. warnings by saying they had not been told when and where the attack would occur. That is true, as far as it goes, but it misses the point. Throughout that summer, there were events that might have exposed the plans, had the government been on high alert. Indeed, even as the Aug. 6 brief was being prepared, Mohamed al-Kahtani, a Saudi believed to have been assigned a role in the 9/11 attacks, was stopped at an airport in Orlando, Fla., by a suspicious customs agent and sent back overseas on Aug. 4. Two weeks later, another co-conspirator, Zacarias Moussaoui, was arrested on immigration charges in Minnesota after arousing suspicions at a flight school. But the dots were not connected, and Washington did not react.
Could the 9/11 attack have been stopped, had the Bush team reacted with urgency to the warnings contained in all of those daily briefs? We can’t ever know. And that may be the most agonizing reality of all. "

I don't "hate" Republicans and can't find any.

Those who claim to be now are not what I grew up with,not what my Father was,not what anyone I knew who claimed to be of the GOP is or was.

Those people put their Country fist and called out their Party when they were wrong or leaned to exclusion,hate or fear.

They presented valid arguments and reached across aisles to accomplish legislation to keep America moving.
They did not always agree with me or me with them but never was it said that their number one priority was to defeat a president  or practice pure obstructionism in order to accomplish that or holding our Nation hostage to get their way causing us to have our Credit Rating downgraded for the first time in history.

Refusing time after time to pass Bills to put Americans back to work.
Allowing the infrastructure to become even more decayed than it is even as there were jobs programs  offered to begin the repair and expansion  that is needed to facilitate growth.
They offered not one Bill to put Americans back to work but brought 92 Bills related to Womens Reproductive Rights and issues.

They  stripped programs for the Poor,Children,Disabled and Elderly while demanding increases for the Military that was in excess of what the Pentagon itself had requested and continue to give Tax breaks to the most profitable Corporations in the world.
A group that allowed time and again it's members to say and make outrageous statements and claims against a sitting President who was duly elected by the People and not reprimand nor denounce those individuals.

Who voted against Programs for our returning Veterans and their Families to help them.
Welcome to the New Republican Party where perception is more important than substance,hate,fear and subversion of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is SOP and threats to America are acceptable in order to overcome the will of the Majority.

Where the very act of Voting is denied to those who would be considered the "Enemy" by these Extremists who have Hi Jacked the Grand Old Party forcing well meaning long time Lawmakers to leave their positions even though many had exceptional records of accomplishment and service to their Constituents and Country.

Their "Our Way or The Highway"policy that  they proudly announced,no compromise never work with the other side not even when they accept your proposal as this would indicate success for the Black Man in THEIR White House.Yes what they see as THEIR WHITE HOUSE where a BLACK President resides.

I commented to my best friend on the night of President Obama election that this would bring out the Racists and Bigots but I hoped I was wrong.

I never imagined how many there were or that Politicians would not only ignore their vitriol  but join in.

The Right refuses to recognize him as the Duly Elected President,will not work with him and is now actively using any means possible to defeat him for a second term even preventing others from being able to Vote,gerrymandering districts and other nefarious actions to rig the outcome of the Presidential Race.

To me there is nothing more unAmerican than preventing others from exercising their Right To Vote.They are the lowest of the low.Self righteous scum who lack the morals and ethics or decency. 

These are not Republicans.  These are the "Enemy Within" because they have shown us they are willing to subvert the Constitution,ignore the Bill Of Rights and undermine the laws of the land in order to get power to make us all conform to their idea of America.

People died to insure ALL Americans could vote.

Voting is a RIGHT ! Anyone who would deny that Right is the Enemy of Democracy.

In my eyes they are guilty of Treason and if they are elected Officials they have broken their Oath of Office and do not deserve to be in whatever Office they were elected to and should be Censured at the least but ultimately removed from their positions with the legal remedies available.

DON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN

It is unfortunate many people who have not found work don't realize it is because of the road blocks put in front of them by the GOP, not President Obama.
Plan after plan proposed by the President was disposed of by the Tea Party led Right in the House
as they were giving sound bites to Media asking "Where Are The Jobs"
Well, many of them were shipped out of the country with GOP help and the Job Bills the President Proposed could not even be brought to the floor in most cases and those that were got voted down.
The Infrastructure plans that were in the initial Stimulus were severely cut back in order to give Tax Breaks that were not needed but the GOP demanded they be included and Hog Tied Dems accepted in order to move the plan forward.
Those proposals alone would have created thousands of jobs and improved our crumbling roads, bridges and other vital needs.
I realize to  people who are consumed by their search for work might give little thought as to who exactly has impeded them and just release their frustration on all Government but this is playing into the hands of those who have kept them down simply so they can regain power,purely political reasoning of denying the President any success.Wow.
They have used you as pawns in their efforts to get the Black Man out of the White House. And they have repeat ably said so.
These are not typical American Political tactics and those few true Republicans that said so were removed and others have choose to leave, many of them multi term Lawmakers who have  records of accomplishment as they know the way to legislate is find common ground or compromise Our Country would not even exist if these methods were not employed.
I can't begin to imagine what it must feel like to be looking for months on end and feel badly that this is happening to them.
What makes me more upset is that there were and are solutions but those on the Right simply don't care because they are beholden to the Tea Party.How else would you explain their not voting for Bills they once proposed or previously agreed to but now refused to even allow to come to the floor for a vote.
As bad as it is for you the unemployed please remember you still hold a vital tool in ending your search and returning to prosperity,your Vote !
Vote with reason and facts not hate and misdirected anger at those who have tried to help.
We don't just need the President re elected we need to regain control of the House and retain the Senate or we will incur the same grid lock we have have seen since misdirected anger brought the Tea Baggers to Washington.To them it's your fault you're jobless and they have said  that again and again.
Democrats have stumbled in some of their efforts but most failure came from, and still does, the Obstruction.
If you do not Vote  or Vote against the President you are doing EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT you to do so they can regain power.
They are the Party that got us into this mess.
I feel for you but must say you will be cutting your throat if you fail to support the only Party who tried to help you.

Democratic Values

On St Patricts Day this year I was rushed to the hospital where my friends were told I was in ICU, not expected to make it to the morning.
It was only because of the efforts of the Paramedics that I even made it there.Even as my heart threatened to burst from Hypertension and I was unable to breath they stablized me on the way and the ER was ready for me.
This was bad.
But the Doctors and Nurses fought for my life and I fought right along with them as much as I could and they made me beat the odds,once again.
You see this was my third brush with the Reeper in 4 years.
Doctors, Nurses and Medicine had saved me because I"m lucky enough to have  Healhcare.The same Healthcare I fought for everyone to have.
And although what we got is not perfect it is a start and provides millions with coverage.How could I look myself in the mirror knowing others were being denied this by people who had it for themselves and their families but are more concerned for HealthCare Providers Profits than insuring everyone was covered.Democratic Leadership helps us all.
What kind of Country cares so little for its citizens that they would not provide this basic need !
When I left the Hospital  there were smiles hugs and even a few tears,a life saved.
 I knew once again that this is part of  the right to happiness we so value.To not have to worry about getting care and going broke trying to pay for what they need to keep them alive.
Even though I found out in June Liver Cancer had returned and a week after that I was told I had Lung Cancer also and then yesterday new scans revealed they were worst than thought, nothing scares me except the fact that my HealthCare will be taken from me because I failed to convince people about the perils of electing Mitt Romney and so called Republicans that would destroy Medicare,Medicaid and repeal the ACA.
Unless you are rich, if you get sick as me,and many are far sicker, you will never be able to afford your needs.
I know I might have as few as eight months if the Liver Cancer can't be controlled and if I'm fortunate enough that it does stablize, I will be looking at Lung Surgery to remove a tumor.
I'm resigned to my fate and have been since I was first diagnosed in 2010 with a rare type of Primary Liver Cancer but  had a successful Resection because it was caught so soon.
But  it has metastasized to a adrenal gland as well as reappeared in my Liver.It's inoperable. I'm on a promising drug and no one is throwing dirt in my face yet.
So while I'm here I'll continue to push for the defeat of those who would repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Just as they have tried to repeal most every other thing ever done in this Country to help those not as successful as them.
How arrogant and devoid of ethics and morals can you be.
They should stop talking about Christ and start acting like him.

A Friend  posted a statement that accused President Obama of Spending his first term blaming George Bush.I had to reply.

"Obama did not spend his First Term blaming George Bush. He did agree with  experts who pointed out that Republican Policies initiated  by Bush led to the demise of the surplus left him by Clinton and the economic disaster that resulted. I know facts and Tea  Publicans don't mix but I say them in hopes of reality sinking in.
The President has spent his first term successfully avoiding a Depression,saving millions of jobs,the US Auto Industry,making sure YOU and your lovely Grandchildren will be able to have healthcare and getting OBL the Terrorist  who killed over 3000 people because Bush ignored a Intel Report that said "Osama Bin Laden determined to attack in the US"  and then  turned a World who was almost completely behind us after 9/11 to view us as bullies after we invaded the wrong country, and lied to Americans do it, and made them wonder where the hell our MORALS had gone,all while  ignoring ignorant non factual insults from Racists,bigots and hateful people who can't admit when they were wrong and seem to be  still fighting the Civil War or simply can't stand that a Black Man is in the White House.
Carter failed at rescuing our Hostages  but he  did not invade the wrong country, squander a surplus left him by the prior administration and proceed to tank the economy and make the rest of the world look down on us as Mr Bush did.
Reagan bought the Hostages release by selling Arms to Iran  while lying to America about it to insure his election and once in office tripled the debt,raised Taxes seven times sold a fairy tale called"Trickle Down Economics" which didn't and still does not work and run a secret war against the law and the wishes of Congress.
I have said before Reagan should be commended for  the Fall of The Wall caused by his strong warnings to the Soviets from his  excellent oratory,and I'm grateful we got the Hostages home no matter how.
Other than that he started us on a decades long trip to economic Hell,lied to the American People and Congress and refused to deal with the Aids epidemic that took the lives of so many including my Daughter.I take that very personal.she was not Gay or a drug user as Mr Reagan believed you must be to get "The Gay Disease" he believed it was,so spare me the rhetoric and lets deal with facts.
And by the way,by today's Tea Bagger led GOP standards, Reagan would be considered a Liberal and would be ostracized by the Right and wouldn't even win a primary."
